We’ve compiled a list of key national/international human services groups and associations that provide networking opportunities, professional education options and regularly scheduled conferences. Please be aware that there are many smaller local associations not listed, and some of the larger national associations have regional chapters. If you know of a group that is not on this list and should be, please let us know.
One of the primary reasons to join an association or group is to network with colleagues. Accordingly, many of the associations listed have social networking presences on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. We’ve compiled them here, but you can easily find them by using the search feature of the social network, if they are not already linked to from the association’s home page.
